This is where it all began. I'm not really sure what made me decide to start writing humor, or what made me think I could even do it. But I had come to the realization that life is a whole lot more fun if you can find a way to laugh at the things around us, especially those things that have a way of testing our patience. And it occurred to me how much fun it would be to share a few laughs with others. I had no idea.

I write lots of stuff, but I'm most proud of my award-winning humor column, Everyday Life. It's spicy, irreverent, and sometimes provocative, yet tame enough for the family. Well, most families. It's my way of making sense of a world that makes no sense, and a one-finger salute to those who just haven't figured out that they're not as gifted as the rest of us.

Six years later, Everyday Life enjoys a following of loyal readers in more than thirty countries around the world. Who would have guessed? But it just goes to show, laughter truly is universal. Enjoy!
